I agree that these are some really hot gifts this year though I think that a lot of people are also giving old fashioned handmade items.
My son and I are making handmade Christmas ornaments from scratch. We cut the ornaments out, I hand draw the pictures and we hand paint them with non-toxic paint made in the USA.
We've had nothing but great comments about how 'precious' and 'adorable' they are.
We also just saw on tv about people buying old fashioned toys that don't require batteries and are made in the USA.
I think this is a great movement as we need kids to learn to appreciate using their own power and their mind instead of just batteries. They also need gifts that are safe and don't have lead.
I feel that as parents we need to remember that when we shop for Christmas gifts

Santa121.com takes the reins this Christmas.

Forget the image of Santa sitting snug by the fire writing his letters, this Christmas Santa has harnessed the cyber world with the launch of www.santa121.com

The innovative website is spreading his Christmas spirit in a totally new way. Embracing the latest VOIP video calling technologies Santa is now able to make online video calls to his favourite children anywhere on the globe.

With a microphone, a sparkly headset and the North pole lit up on the grid, Farther time is defiantly now up with the times which is great news for kids this year and parents alike not having to flock up to Lapland, as now all you need is a Skype ID to bring Santa up close and personal this Christmas.

The technical elves at www.santa121.com chose Skype because of it overwhelming popularity and its free sign up. The video call quality is as good as it gets with the new software installed and Santa’s high resolution webcam, so this means kids are going to enjoy this magical moment in life like quality. No webcam is required to see and speak with Santa Claus from your end; you simply need a headset and a mic to speak

There is no doubt a personal video call from Santa Claus himself is going to be a unique moment a child will never forget. So to capture this for yourself santa121.com is also offering a free add on to Skype. With this feature you can actually record your video call and save Santa and you child chatting on a memorable DVD.

So how do I get my little ones on his list, I hear you ask. Well fortunately the best kept secret this Christmas still has booking spaces available, but I recommend you don’t dither, as Santa121 is the only place your kids are able to see and speak live with Santa. Bookings are expected to flood in the closer we get to Christmas, so put your child’s details on Santa’s list early to avoid disappointment.

The website is well designed and simple to use even for Parents. You simply select what type of call you prefer; either a traditional phone call or a video call, then chooses a day and a time your want Santa to call. Finally simply add few details about your child to help Santa Claus personalize the call.

A live one to one call from Father Christmas is defiantly going to make any children feel very special this Christmas and to capture this moment before its gone is priceless.

So put www.santa121.com on top of your list this Christmas I highly recommend it.

Happy holidays!

Sure, those gifts might be hot but they really are last years list of hot items. All except the digital frame(lame)and latest version of Halo.

So, what's on this year's hot list for those that have all of the previousy listed items. A struggle I face every year.

I like the idea of a digital picture frame. Good idea. Another good idea is the Adventures of Santa found at http://adventuresofsanta.com

It's a story of how Santa Claus battles Evil Santa. It also gives the answers to a few questions about Santa Claus, for example how he can be in so many places at one time.
Adventures of Santa http://adventuresofsanta.com
Wholesome holiday fun for the entire family.

I love the GPS System in my car. I even use it when I know the way to my destination just to see the route it will provide. It's right on everytime. I'm giving one to my sister for Christmas.

BTW for real family fun read SANTA'S ADVENTURES http://santasadventures.com
The story of Christmas elves in rebellion as they demand a cut of the Christmas action from Santa, toy manufacturers and retailers. Read every laugh filled installment of SANTA'S ADVENTURES http://santasadventures.com
